Experienced instructors will teach foundational skills such as body and foot positioning, balancing, pushing, turning, and tic tacking, plus how to fall safely, skate park etiquette, and basic equipment care.​

Let our League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors teach you how to ride a bike using the gliding technique. With this simple and effective technique, most students are pedaling within an hour and off riding in no time. Students also learn the ABC quick check and proper bike fit. Stand-up comedian Dusty Slay grew up poor on Lot 8 of a mobile home neighborhood in Opelika, Alabama, with a love for both classic country and rock and a career history peppered with jobs like waiting tables and selling pesticides.

Holiday Christmas Lights Train:  Visit the North Pole!
As our most popular annual event, North Pole Limited train rides have been a family tradition since 1999. During the magical holiday season, trains take riders on an imaginary journey to the North Pole. Along the way, you’ll be treated to refreshments and storytelling while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. As the North Pole Limited train gently rolls down the rails, a number of lighted displays can be seen outside. When you arrive at the North Pole, Santa will come on board for a special visit with all the passengers.

Community members are invited to join Southern Adventist University for a festive evening to kick off the Christmas season on Tuesday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m., in front of Wright Hall. Enjoy warm refreshments while strolling across campus to holiday renditions before experiencing the family-friendly Irish Christmas in America show in its 18th season with cultural traditions and tunes on fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, and harp at 7:30 in Iles P.E.
